The first full-length trailer for David Fincher’s The Social Network was posted on Yahoo! Movies earlier today.

Since the original posting the video has been removed, but I was able to find the following on YouTube (hopefully this one won’t get pulled).

When I originally heard about this movie, my first thought was are you kidding me? However after watching the first full trailer below I’m tempted to change my mind a bit. The movie looks interesting and could potentially have a decent story behind it.

What do you think about the trailer? Are you going to see the film when it hits theaters? Let me know!

In my last post I mentioned that I was the first person to register for Atlassian Summit 2010. The Atlassians were nice enough to print me a custom t-shirt.

What I did not realize is that I was also the first person to register for Atlassian Summit 2009. That’s right, I was the first person to register for the first and second Atlassian Summit conferences. This was the real reason why they decided to print me a custom t-shirt.

Well it turns out that the custom t-shirt was just the start of what the Atlassians had planned for me. During the first few minutes of the Day 1 Keynote, Scott Farquhar (@scottfarkas) mentioned my accomplishment. He also announced that I was going to once again be the first person to register for Atlassian Summit 2011 because Atlassian had decided to give me a complimentary ticket. Needless to say I was super excited and it was really cool to be mentioned at the Summit.

Summit 2009 was great! Summit 2010 was awesome! I’m looking forward to an Incredible Summit 2011!

I’m attending the second annual Atlassian Summit in San Francisco again this year. I had a great time last year and I am looking forward to another great conference as well as wondering how Atlassian is planning to up the game this year.

While looking through the limited promo material on the 2010 Summit site I ran across the Summit Overview Video and decided to relive some of the highlights from last year’s conference. I never expected to see myself in the video, but if you fast forward to 1:19 in the clip below you will see me in a yellow polo (third from the left). Yes I’m eating, not the most flattering footage. Hopefully if I make the highlight reel for this year’s summit it will not involve eating or some other less flattering pose. I’m ready for my close up Mr. Cannon-Brookes.

What is it about American Idol that makes people lose their minds?

Since the beginning, I have never been able to get into the show. Sure I’ve watched the first couple episodes of some seasons for a good laugh, but as soon as that is over I just can’t get into it. I still wonder why some people subject themselves to the show when it is pretty obvious that they have no chance. Is five minutes of fame (or should I say shame) really worth it?

The above being said, over the last few days I have been seeing “Pants on the Ground” as status updates on Twitter and Facebook. Call me curious, but I just had to figure out what it meant. It took me less than a minute to search Google and find the video on YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nsv2LrdXf1Y

The song was written and performed by General Larry Platt who is best known for his work in the civil rights movement of the 1960′s. I have to admit that it is great to see a man from this movement telling today’s youth (and the not so young) to get their pants off the ground. I know I am sick and tired of it myself.

If you haven’t seen the video I can only suggest you watch it, but beware that you will definitely be laughing so be aware of your surroundings.
